Be sure and check for more serious disorders as others suggest, but for the actual state of the blood vessels try Vitamin C and Pycnogenol. Pycnogenol was been shown to increase the strength of the blood vessels. There are three major ways that Pycnogenol protects blood vessels. 1 Vitamin C is needed for the production of callogen, which reinforces the capillaries. Pycnogenol helps Vitamin C in several ways. 2 Pycnogenol adheres to the callogen protecting it directly. 3 Pycnogenol protects the blood cell walls. Professor Jacques Masquelier, in 1965, gave 45 persons suffering from venous or capillary disorders a single 100 mg supplement of Pycnogenol and 72 hours later they were found to have increased capillary resistance by 140 percent. (Feine-Haake, G., "A new therapy for venous diseases." Zeitschrift fur Allgemeinmedizin 839 (June 30, 1975). I personally take Pycnogenol for symptoms of Crohn’s disease and have found it very helpful to me without negative side effects. Remember to take the Vitamin C. As, Pycnogenol and Vitamin C are very safe, so you can minimize the danger of drugs to your daughter’s health while still trying to stop the bleeding. Bless you and your daughter, let me know how things turn out. Kevin — One of the few things I am sure of is my own ignorance…and yours for that matter. :-D

Does she bruise easily or generally have more difficulty with clotting when she cuts herself? If so this is possible indication of more serious disorder. Good luck. Aloha, Rich

Does she feel unusually warm to the touch, and is her head often damp at night with sweat? —
