ileostomy reversal
Question:
i recently had an ileostomy reversal and would be intererested to hear from others also with chrohns disease that have had this done also and their experiences with same. i am still experiencing bad wind pain and some abdo pain as the bowels begin to work again. Would love to hear from anyone in the world of their experience regards Craig O Australia

Hi Craig, I had an ileostomy reversal back in 1995. The memories have faded some since then. I was given a resting ostomy for 3 months to allow time for the multiple resection sites(2) to heal. You may want to try eating some yogurt to help calm the winds. Feel better. William CD Class of 89-99
